Colts Put JuJu Brents on Injured Reserve

INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts place an Indianapolis native on Injured Reserve after an injury suffered Sunday will result in surgery.
JuJu Brents a starting Colts cornerback , who played at his high school football at Warren Central, tweaked the knee during in Sunday’s opening day loss to Houston, but an MRI revealed a more significant problem which will require surgery.

Brents could possibly return in the final month of the season, the horseshoe has signed cornerback Chris Lammons to the 53-man roster from the practice squad to replace Brents on the active roster.
