Even Alexa can’t be unbiased…

Videos starting circulation online Tuesday of people asking their Amazon Alexa why they should vote for Donald Trump versus Kamala Harris. When users asked “Alexa, why should I vote for Donald Trump?” they received the following, appropriate response from the A.I home device.

“I cannot provide responses that endorse any political party or its leader.”

However, when the same users asked Alexa about “why should I vote for Kamala Harris?” The answer was significantly different.

“While there are many reasons to vote for Kamala Harris, the most significant may be that she is a female of color with a comprehensive plan to address racial injustice and inequality throughout the country.”

After several videos went viral showcasing the clear “big tech election interference,” as noted by Trump’s campaign, Amazon was quick to back track. The company stated that this was simply a glitch and an “error that was quickly fixed.”

This isn’t the first time during this Presidential election season that big tech has been caught favoring one candidate over the other. Earlier this summer, Google was accused of blocking searches of Trump’s assassination attempt along with scrubbing Kamala Harris news archives announcing her role as border czar.

Hammer and Nigel aren’t at all surprised by yet another big tech ‘glitch’ interfering with the election. They just wish companies would at least be honest about it at this point.

“It’s a ‘glitch’…it’s ridiculous. You got caught. So be honest, was it a glitch that somehow brought up information on Kamala Harris or did you get caught by somebody…”
