Tony Katz:

Mayor Joe Hogsett kept a guy named Thomas Carl Cook employed after three different women said Thomas Karl Cook was sexually harassing them. Kept him employed. Thomas Carl Cook was the deputy mayor and the chief of staff to Joe Hogsett. And then after Thomas Carl Cook got another job with a law firm, which I wonder out loud whether Joe Hogsett recommended him for the job. This guy came back to help Joe Hogsett run a campaign. Allegedly there was an investigation done by Hogsett into this in 2017, but we’ve never seen the results of the investigation, probably because it never happened. The answer from Democrats? Well, we’ll put together a proposal and we’ll overhaul the city’s current procedures associated with sexual harassment, and now everybody has to take a training. So, all those people who work in city government now to take this new training when they did nothing wrong.

Thomas Carl Cook, from when we were talking about him, was a creep. Then my view, I said so on the air, not knowing about these things, just how he treated me, treated this show, treated you. He was the guy in the photo with Joe Hogsett eating pizza and he’s giving the camera the finger.

That’s Thomas Carl Cook. Joe Hogsett gives some nonsense apology at a City-County Council meeting, and that’s enough. The Democratic Party doesn’t hold him to account because ohh, we can’t hold a Democrat to account. What Al Franken did was less offensive than what Joe Hogsett is alleged of doing.

Looking the other way. I did not know that Joe Hogsett is just an old Irish term for Harvey Weinstein. He does whatever he wants and everybody else looks away. No, no, wait, no, wait. Thomas Carl Cook would be the Harvey Weinstein and Joe Hogsett would be the George Clooney. Ben Affleck, Matt Damon. Got it. My mistake. It’s hard to keep up with all the predator stuff.  No leadership in Indianapolis says, hey, you gotta go. Hey, where’s this investigation? Hey, we wanna see the proof of it. No one, no one stands up for anything. You think Bob Bosley is standing up? Not a shot. You think Ali Brown is standing up for women? Ali Brown, vice president of the Indianapolis City County Council, has very clearly told us all. That she doesn’t care about women in the slightest. And Ali Brown, if you’re listening, it’s obvious you don’t care about women. Don’t ever run on a campaign of caring about women. It’s a lie. Not because I say so, but because you showed us. Unbelievable. What it is we’re watching and witnessing. The unwillingness of leadership to actually do the job of a leader. To stand up. To speak out even when it’s uncomfortable and even when it’s about a friend. And this is just the way Indianapolis will go. You get what you vote for. You get what you accept. I just wish you would vote differently and you wouldn’t accept it.
