(Washington, DC) — Tomorrow’s hearing of the January 6th House committee is being postponed. California Democrat Zoe Lofgren explained putting together the videos the public sees isn’t easy on the panel’s staff.
“We were going to have one-two-three in one week and it’s just it’s too much to put it all together,” said Lofgren. “So we’re trying to give them a little room to do their technical work.”
A series of June hearings will resume on Thursday, as scheduled. Tomorrow’s hearing was intended to focus on former President Trump’s alleged efforts to pressure the Justice Department to back up his claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. That hearing will be rescheduled.
