Noblesville Fire Dept. Accepting Donations for Christmas Food & Toy Drive
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The Noblesville Fire Department is now accepting donations for its 43rd annual food and toy drive.
This year’s efforts will benefit more than 100 less-fortunate families in Noblesville.
The fire department is accepting canned goods, non-perishable food items, and new, unwrapped toys through Friday, Dec. 4. The gifts will be delivered to families on Dec. 12.
Donations may be dropped off at any Noblesville Fire Department or at Noblesville City Hall.
“For over four decades, the Noblesville Fire Department has had the honor of delivering food and toys on behalf of the generous citizens and businesses of Noblesville, who willingly donate to this great cause,” said Noblesville Fire Chief Matt Mitchell. “The gratitude displayed by the recipients of these gifts is impossible to describe.”
The fire department is also accepting monetary donations (checks are preferred, made payable to the NFD Hamilton County Community Foundation). Donations may also be made online through the Central Indiana Community Foundation donor portal. If making an online donation, please type “Noblesville Firefighters Fund” under the Fund Name section.
