Trump’s recent tweet was labeled by the social media platform as “manipulated media.”

Carpe Donktum is well-known on Twitter for his satirical videos and cleverly edited memes. Recently, he took the 2019 viral video of two toddlers hugging and edited to make it seem like the black toddler was running away from the white toddler.

The comical part of the edit was a fake CNN news ticker reading Terrified toddler runs from racist baby.”

The remaining part of the video shows the actual video of the two little friends overjoyed to see each other.

The video ended with the statement, “America is not the problem. Fake news is.”

After the president reposted the video, it quickly racked up views. C’mon that’s what the internet loves! Twitter quickly labeled the tweet as “manipulated media” JUST IN CASE someone actually thought the first piece of footage was a real CNN clip.

CNN also wanted to clarify:

Mock pointed out during The Chicks on the Right show Friday that this actually says something about CNN, not the president.

“It unwittingly says, ‘CNN you are so fake news that when there is this level of news created about you, we have to point it out.’”

This is the third time this year Twitter has marked against Trump.
