49th ANNUAL RILEY FESTIVAL

9am|Downtown Greenfield

Celebrating James Whitcomb Riley’s birthday with one of the Indiana’s largest craft festivals.  12 Blocks of entertainment, food, vendors and more.  The parade of flowers begins at 12:30.  Park at the 4-H Fairgrounds and pick up the shuttle.  “Flying Toasters” perform at 8pm.  Festival goes through Sunday. 

 

 

 

HALF PRICE BOOKS “MEGA CLEARANCE SALE”

9am|Indiana State Fairgrounds Expo Hall

70,000 Sq. Feet of books, music, movies, comics and more.  Everything is $2 or less!  Goes through Sunday and restocking daily.  The first 200 shoppers each day will receive a free HPB tote Bag.  FREE admission.

 

 

46th ANNUAL PUMPKIN HARVEST FESTIVAL

10am|Stonycreek Farm in Noblesville

Hayrides, a pretty cool zipline and a haunted house.  Take a ride on the pumpkin train, or the kiddiepillar!  Open through October 31st, 10am to 5pm daily.  $5 parking Tue-Sun with no fee on Mondays! 

 

 

WATERMAN’S ANNUAL FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL

10am|Waterman’s Family Farm in Greenwood

A fantastic Indianapolis Fall tradition with hayrides, an obstacle course, mini train rides and a straw bale playground.  Acres of pumpkins and farm animals!  Goes through Oct. 31st.  Closed on Mondays.

 

 

 

OUR LADY OF LOURDES PARISH FALL FESTIVAL

5pm|Irvington

Carnival rides, flu shot clinic, Texas Hold ‘em, and “Blessings in Our Soup” book signing at 6pm.  Audio Diner on stage at 7pm.  SAT: 3-8pm.

 

 

 

“FAMILY FRIGHT NIGHT”

6pm|Indiana State Museum

A really fun way to kick off the Halloween season!  Dress in your favorite costume and get ready for a night of spooky fun.  Conduct experiments, discover monsters that call Indiana home, and make all kinds of creepy crafts!  Prizes for “Spookiest” ,” best” and “best Indiana connection” costume”.  $16.
