Indiana Fever v New York Liberty

NEW YORK–The New York Liberty overcame an eight-point deficit to knock off the Indiana Fever Tuesday night 98-84 at the Barclays Center.

The Liberty shot 52% from the field, 55% from three-point range, and 95% from the free throw line. The Liberty had six players score in double figures led by Jonquel Jones with 18 points and nine rebounds.

Fever guard Caitlin Clark missed the game with a groin injury. Kelsey Mitchell scored 29 points for Indiana to lead all scorers. Sophie Cunningham and Aliyah Boston both had 15 for the Fever.

It’s the third time in four tries the Liberty have beaten the Fever this season. New York is also last year’s WNBA champion. Their record is now 16-6.

The Fever drop to 12-12. The timetable for Clark’s return from injury is unknown.
