While speaking to reporters on the White House lawn, President Donald Trump said Democratic representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett should take IQ tests.

“AOC, look, I think she’s very nice. But she’s very low-IQ, and we really don’t need low-IQ,” the president told reporters. “Between her and Crockett, we’re going to give them both an IQ test to see who comes out best.”

“Now, I took my test. I took a real test at Walter Reed Medical Center and I aced it. I got every one of all those questions right. Now it’s time for them to take a test,” said Trump.

Critics pointed out that Trump was referencing a cognitive test, not an IQ test. A cognitive test is used to detect early signs of cognitive decline, not intelligence.

Trump’s comments came after a reporter told him that “tomorrow morning here in Washington, AOC is hosting Zohran Mamdani for breakfast,” referring to the socialist running to be New York City’s next mayor.
