Winchester Man Charged with Molesting Relative on Multiple Occasions

WINCHESTER, Ind. — A Winchester man has been charged with child molesting for touching a young relative multiple times over several years.
The 14-year-old told investigators during an interview that Frank Farrington, 56, had molested her over the last few years. Court documents filed last week in Randolph County show that Farrington admitted to touching the 14-year-old inappropriately on more than five occasions with most of the incidents happening at a Winchester home.
Farrington also confessed to molesting the teen in a Walmart parking lot during a volleyball game. He stated that he did it out of a “lust for the touch.”
Farrington was preliminarily charged with child molesting, a Level 1 felony. He was also convicted of child molesting in Jay County in 1999.
