Las Vegas Aces v Indiana Fever

INDIANAPOLIS–The Indiana Fever never trailed on their way to an 81-54 dismantling of the Las Vegas Aces Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. It’s the Fever’s first win over the Aces since 2019.

Caitlin Clark missed her fourth straight game for Indiana with an injured groin. Kelsey Mitchell made 9 of her 18 shots and scored 25 points to lead the Fever in scoring and also dished out six assists. Aliyah Boston also scored 20 points to go along with her 7 rebounds. The third Indiana Fever to finish in double figure scoring was Natasha Howard (11 points and 10 rebounds).

Indiana led by as many as 27 points. They held Las Vegas to 19% shooting from three-point range (3-16) and 26% from the field (26-61). Indiana shot 49% from the field (31-63) and 31% from three-point range (5-16). They also outrebounded the Aces 37-26 and outscored them in the paint 38-20.

Las Vegas Center A’Ja Wilson led all scorers with 29 points.

Indiana improves to 9-8 with the win while the Aces drop to 8-9 with the defeat. Next up for the Fever is the 5-13 Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday night at 7 pm. You can hear that game on 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan.
