Strike on Iran was precision based on every metric. What is the strategy going forward for the United States?
It was precision based on every metric and based on every pundit and based on our own eyes. Precision is how we were able to drop 14 MOPS, Massive ordnance penetrators, bunker Busters. On these two nuclear enrichment sites in Iran, the third one, Isfahan getting Tomahawk missiles. Now, did it do the job? That’s a different question. But let’s get into what was the strategy, how was it implemented, and then what is the strategy going forward for the United States? Israel possibly and maybe other players. Major Mike Lyons joins us right now. Retired United States Army military analyst. You’ve been seeing him all over your radio and your TV dials over the past few days as a go to voice on what has taken place the United States entering this conflict with, to the bombing of these two nuclear enrichment sites. Let’s start with a recap. Talk to me about what it is you can tell us about this operation that we may not already know in in the recap and what it is you saw as either exemplary or problematic.
So Tony, thanks for having me. I’m I was actually surprised when it happened. I was looking for maybe 48 hours after that, I was taken by the head fake about sending B2’s to Guam. I thought that that was going to be, you know, kind of the final opportunity for the Iranians to do something by, you know, giving, buying them some time. But I guess from the Intel that they felt that they were moving radioactive material out of there and they must have felt that they had to go right away.
