INDIANAPOLIS–The Indiana Pacers may be down, but they’re not out in the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After their Game 5 loss Monday night, Pacer fans still expressed optimism.

“They can still do it. They’ve been down before and they always come back,” said a fan named Jim.

Another fan said “they always do their best work with their back against the wall.”

One man outside Gainbridge Fieldhouse said he met Pacer guard Tyrese Haliburton before and said he was a “cool dude.”

“Ty’s just gotta stop thinking so much. He’s got a lot of pressure on him,” he said.

One woman who cheers for the Pacers, but doesn’t live in Indiana, said Haliburton is a big “motivational player for the rest of the team.”

Haliburton has been bothered by a calf problem lately.

Oklahoma City leads the series 3-2 and the first to 4 wins is the NBA Champion. Game 6 is in Indianapolis at Gainbridge Fieldhouse Thursday night at 8:30. If necessary, Game 7 would be back in Oklahoma City on Sunday night.
