Body Found in White River Tuesday; Two Others Pulled Over Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS –A man was found dead in the White River near Noblesville Tuesday morning. First responders got the call just before noon and pulled the body from the water near a bridge on East 206th Street.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says there’s no sign of foul play and no threat to the public.
That’s the third body found in central Indiana waterways since the weekend.
On Sunday, a kayaker spotted a body in Fall Creek near the Upper Fall Creek Loop Trail in Lawrence. Officers said the man had likely been in the water for a while. The Marion County Coroner identified him as a 55-year-old Andrew “Andy” Nevers. Police do not believe foul play was involved.
Earlier Sunday, Indianapolis police were called to the White River near North White River Parkway. A dive team recovered a man’s body from the river. That case is still under investigation, and the Marion County Coroner has not yet released the man’s name or cause of death.
