Daycare Owner and Director Arrested in Brownsburg

BROWNSBURG, Ind. — Two women who ran a Brownsburg daycare found themselves under arrest Friday, caught up in an investigation surrounding serious crimes against children.
Police charged the owner, Nancy Minton, and the director, Jennyfer Lingbeck, with seven counts each, including obstruction of justice, neglect, and failure to report abuse.
These arrests come amid an ongoing probe into former daycare worker Gabriel Garner, who was arrested last week on dozens of charges tied to child molestation and exploitation.
The case began to unravel on April 2, when a teacher at Main Street University 4 Kidz called Indiana’s child abuse hotline to report three troubling incidents. That report sparked a deeper investigation by law enforcement.
Detectives soon discovered nearly 130 photos of child exploitation on Garner’s cellphone. GPS data linked those images directly back to the Brownsburg daycare.
Police identified six victims, all between the ages of 3 and 5, and have reached out to those children and their families.
Garner, 22, of Avon, pleaded not guilty last Friday to 43 charges, which include child molestation, exploitation, and possession of child pornography.
Following these developments, the state ordered Main Street University 4 Kidz to close its doors immediately on May 8.
While police have named Garner to encourage any other victims to come forward, the owner and director’s names remain withheld as formal charges against them are still pending.
