Republicans Are Financial Predators and Braun is No Exception

Governor Mike Braun failed Hoosiers when he decided to sign into law the flawed property tax reform bill.
The bill started as a proposal from Braun that would bring cuts to property taxes that totaled $4.1 billion. However in a compromise deal reached last week, that number is down to $1.3 billion.
The bill gives homeowners a property tax credit of up to $300, greatly increases the exemption for business personal property taxes and enables cities and towns to enact their own local income tax. This raises concern that local governments will make taxpayers pay for the relief by raising the income tax.
Hoosiers came together to protest Senate Bill 1 at the Statehouse for the property tax rally in March. Many of the attendees had to take the day off work to be there.
Braun partook in the rally and told Hoosiers that he would fight for them and make sure this faulty bill didn’t pass. But he betrayed his supporters and decided to sign Senate Bill 1 into law, making him a financial predator just like the rest of the Indiana Republicans.
The Kendall and Casey Show has done everything they can do to hold the governor accountable. But now it is time to bring someone in who can help.
‘To Catch a Predator’s’ Chris Hansen steps in to save the day and set Braun straight.
