Chloe Spreen Commits to Indiana Women’s Basketball

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — 2024 Indiana Miss Basketball winner, Chloe Spreen, is transferring to Indiana University Bloomington.
Spreen posted on X, also known as “Twitter,” saying, “Go Hoosiers!” This implies that she made her commitment Wednesday.
Spreen is 5’10,” and she played basketball at Alabama throughout her freshman year, averaging 1.2 points per game, and she played in 20 games with the Crimson Tide, where she played 6.5 per game.
For high school, Spreen went to Bedford North Lawrence, she assisted on leading the Stars to a 4A state championship two years ago. During her senior year, she averaged 20.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, and she led Bedford to a record of 20-5, as well as a sectional championship. This was in the 2023-24 season.
There are six players in the transfer portal for Indiana University women’s basketball. That includes Lexus Bargesser, Sharnecce Currie-Jelkes, Julianna LaMendola, Lilly Meister, Henna Sandvik, and its leading scorer Yarden Garzon.
