Community East Hospital and other Indy Businesses without Water

INDIANAPOLIS – Community East Hospital and other businesses on the near northeast side of Indianapolis are without water this afternoon, as the water main break on 22nd Street in the Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood is having impacts from several hours ago.
“I can’t even go to the bathroom, as it’s locked off,” Michael Krauch, a patient at Community East Hospital.
Krauch is having a procedure done at the hospital. He says there is no water there.
People from three to four miles south and southeast of the main break are telling WIBC News that they don’t have any water.
Citizens Energy Group warns customers not to drink water without boiling it first. Let water boil for three minutes, before letting it cool and using it, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation.
