INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner’s sister, named Mya, left the courtside on a stretcher prior the Pacers taking on the Brooklyn Nets.
Pacers officials say that Mya suffered a “medical emergency,” and she had to receive treatment. She was sitting on the stretcher, and she was awake while being taken off the court. Before Mya left the courtside to be put on the stretcher, Myles gave her a hug.
However, that did not stop Turner from playing the game. He ended it with 22 points, as well as five 3-pointers. The Pacers are now 41-29 after they beat the Nets 108-103.
After the game, Myles said his sister was okay.
