INDIANAPOLIS–The Purdue Boilermakers were the only from Indiana to make this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The NCAA Selection Committee made Purdue (22-11) a 4 seed in the Midwest Regional. They open up the Round of 64 with a matchup against the 13th seeded High Point (29-5) on Thursday March 20.
With a record of 19-13, the Indiana Hoosiers did not make it into the field. They were knocked out of the Big Ten Tournament by the Oregon ducks. It’s the second straight season the Hoosiers missed the NCAA Tournament.
Purdue was eliminated from the Big Ten Tournament in the quarterfinal round by Michigan this year. Michigan went on to win the Big Ten Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse this year.
