INDIANAPOLIS — A new, unique exhibit has opened at the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indy. It’s called “FIX: Heartbreak and Hope Inside Our Opioid Crisis.” Cathy Ferree, the president and CEO of the museum, tells Inside Indiana Business the goal is to reduce the stigma surrounding opioid use disorder.
“We had 16 very brave Hoosiers come forward and tell their stories,” Ferree said. “So you can see people just like yourself who have been through this and understand it. Or you can look into the science to understand it, or the data. Depending on what you’re really interested in, we can bring you into a topic that you might not know a lot about.”
Ferree hopes the exhibit will give you a chance to learn the facts and get a better understanding of what opioid use disorder looks like, and how you might be able to help someone you know.
