BENTON COUNTY, Ind.–An 11-year-old girl has died and five others were sent to a hospital because of a house fire in Benton County, Indiana.

Firefighters responded to the fully engulfed home late Tuesday night. They rescued two adults and four kids.

Despite efforts to save her, Yuliana Ortega Haro, the 11-year-old victim, later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.

They are trying to figure out what caused the fire.

The Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office said Wednesday that a forensic autopsy is now being scheduled for Haro. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

“Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family, and we hope they are respected during such a difficult time,” TCCO said in a release.
