RANDOLPH COUNTY, IND –A Richmond woman died in a crash Friday night in Randolph County.
State police say 58-year-old Michelle Elaine Moore was driving west on County Road 900 South when she ran a stop sign at U.S. 35 and hit another vehicle. Deputies and state police responded to the crash around 6:40 p.m.
State police say a 58-year-old Richmond woman died after running a stop sign and getting hit by a box truck. Michelle Elaine Moore was driving a red 2003 Cadillac west on County Road 900 S when she went through the stop sign and was hit on the driver’s side by a northbound truck on U.S. 35.
Moore died at the scene. U.S. 35 was closed for about two hours during the investigation and cleanup. Police don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
