BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Indiana Hoosier quarterback Kurtis Rourke will start Saturday when they face Michigan State.
That announcement was made Thursday night on Inside IU Football by the IU Head Football Coach Curt Cignetti.
Rourke injured his right thumb when the Hoosiers beat Nebraska 56-7 on October 19. He didn’t play in the team’s 31-17 victory over Washington October 26.
Cignetti said on Monday that he was “optimistic” that Rourke would play.
The Hoosiers and Spartans play each other for the Old Brass Spittoon on Saturday. Kickoff is at 3:30 pm.
Radio coverage begins at 2:30 pm on 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan.
