LAWRENCE, Ind.–A garbage truck collided with Thornton’s gas station at Pendleton Pike and Sunnyside Rd., just before 7 a.m. Friday. The green Waste Management truck could be seen off to the side of the convenience store, after coming to a stop.
Lawrence Police said the driver was taken to the hospital and it may have been a medical episode that caused the crash.
