Why Are Data Centers Bad?

So, it’s not that the data center got voted down, the petition got pulled. It was there for the city county council in Indianapolis got pulled by the lawyers. A lot of people showed up to say data center’s bad.
The problem is why are data centers bad? What is the actual argument being used against and is it just here? Is it all across Indiana? What do we plan to fill the void with? If you don’t want data centers, I’m fine with that. What business do we want? And are there issues with data centers that are surmountable that we are not engaged in even discussing. Dr Matt Will joins us. As economist at the University of Indianapolis you study a great number of issues, and certainly we talk about how we grow the state, how we grow the city, and data centers have come up. A lot of businesses have come up as a matter of economic return. Are you for or against data centers in the aggregate?
