INDIANAPOLIS — The violence throughout Indianapolis continues as another fatal shooting happened early Monday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers found a man with gunshot wounds at a home in the 3500 block of North Butler Avenue on the city’s east side at around 3:40 a.m. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers believe the shooting stemmed from a disturbance that happened earlier inside the home.

No arrests have been made and there is no known information about a suspect.

At least six people were also shot and killed in and around Indianapolis over the weekend.
