Police: Child Stabbed by Man in Fort Wayne Wearing ‘Scream’ Mask

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Police in Fort Wayne are investigating an incident where they say a man wearing a “Scream” mask stabbed an 11-year-old boy.
The child was stabbed in the abdomen Thursday afternoon in a neighborhood on the city’s southeast side. The boy was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested 27-year-old Trayveon Sewell on preliminary charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, a Level 6 Felony. A witness told police they saw Sewell stab the boy while wearing the mask.
