ANDERSON, Ind.  — An Anderson man is accused of biting his pregnant wife and beating her with a vacuum hose.

Lance Cooper was arrested early Monday morning after his wife called 911, the Anderson Police Department told the Herald-Bulletin newspaper.

Cooper’s wife told police her husband came home and started asking her questions about Facebook. When she turned away from him, he tried to force her to answer and then started biting her all over her upper body.

She said Cooper then got a vacuum hose and started whipping her with it while saying he wanted to “kill the baby,” reports the Herald-Bulletin.

The woman was able to get out of the house and call 911.

She was taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Coopers is charged with domestic battery and invasion of privacy.
