Speedway Officers Arrest Two Teenagers in Early Morning Police Chase

SPEEDWAY, Ind. — Two juveniles were arrested after leading police on a chase in Speedway early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, two boys — a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old — were taken into custody by Speedway police officers following the chase. Police say the 14-year-old was driving a stolen 2016 Kia sedan that ended up damaging a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck.
The 14-year-old suspect faces multiple felony charges including auto theft, resisting law enforcement and kidnapping using a vehicle. The 12-year-old has been charged with unauthorized entry to a vehicle and resisting law enforcement.
Two other boys — a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old — are also listed in the report as suspects. It’s unclear if the 13-year-old and 15-year-old were detained or charged in relation to the chase.
The incident also involved the use of a taser, per the police report.
