The “Christine” of beverage carts nearly mowed down multiple airport workers at Chicago O’Hare Monday before it was stopped just moments before smashing into the nose of a parked airplane.
In a video captured by Dr. Kevin Klauer, the killer beverage cart spins violently out of control, throwing complimentary beer and soda to bystanders, and doing donuts like a drunken teenager in mom’s Lexus.
“Hey kids, look!” yells the circling cart of death. “Big Ben! Parliament!”
Alas, all good times must come to an end. A fun-spoiling airport worker soon decides to ruin the moment as he begins heading towards the beverage cart with a far superior and much heavier loading cart.
“What are you doing, Dave?” asks the beverage cart just seconds before it collides with Dave in a violent crash.
American Airlines put out an official statement on the matter after video of the horrific event went viral. “We appreciate the quick action of our team member who stopped the vehicle,” the statement read. “Safety is our top priority and we are working with our partners to investigate the incident.”
Please note: “Christine” is not the first beverage cart to go ape crap on innocent bystanders, as evidenced from in this action-packed video from 2011 that was captured at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
