Human Bones Discovered in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.—Human bones were found on the north side of Bloomington this week.
On Thursday, the Bloomington Police Department said the bones had been discovered on Wednesday.
Officers say the bones were discovered on Acuff Road, which is north of State Road 45 and Interstate 69. They were found by a crew that had been clearing land.
The Monroe County coroner was called Wednesday, and a forensic anthropology team from Indianapolis arrived Thursday to assist with the recovery of the remains.
