WIBC Radiothon DOnate Now TO The Salvation Army

Tony Katz:

The political left always overplays their hand. We could discuss it again, and again, and again. It never stops… Kurt Schlichter. He is the colonel trial lawyer by trade, the author of the Kelly Turnbull series of books. You can find those at Amazon.com or wherever fine books are sold. You and I have discussed this many times… You’ve been traveling and doing some work, that the left always overplays their hand. With Signal.. right now, it’s not only did they share classified information, which is questionable, it “was Pete Hegseth drunk when he did it”:

Kurt Schlichter:

Look, the only people who know about this are those of us obsessed with politics and those of us on Twitter. Everybody else I look at… 1300 miles across this country in the last three days, I bet I haven’t seen 20 people who know or care about this scandal.

Tony Katz:

You and I see a little parts of this differently, but we do see the idea that in the big scheme of things, this is a smaller thing. Certainly no one got killed except for Houthi rebels, and you do want to see America being proactive in taking out the enemy, but to this idea of overplaying their hand. If you said, “Hey, we should take a look at how we communicate,” that’s one thing. If you’re demanding the head of the Secretary of Defense be fired, well, you’re clearly out of your own head.

Kurt Schlichter:

Yeah, they get nothing. We’re not doing this anymore. I’ve seen a lot of people. “I don’t want to hear anymore about Hillary’s emails.” Hey, Hillary’s emails created the new rules, and the new rules are when senior leaders get caught doing something. And I want to make it clear, I don’t think Pete Hegseth there, Michael Waltz did anything, but just go with me. When senior leaders get caught, they don’t get held accountable. That’s the lesson of Hillary and her emails. That’s the lesson of Afghanistan. That’s the lesson of Eric Swalwell and Fang Fang. That’s the lesson of Mark Millie. And if they think that we’re going to hand over the head of Pete Hegseth or Michael Waltz just because they’re really, really perturbed. You know they’ve got to be smoking dope.
