Purdue Defeats McNeese to Punch Ticket to Sweet 16 in Indianapolis

No. 4 seed Purdue made it clear from the start that No. 12 seed McNeese wouldn’t pull off another upset, cruising to a 76-62 victory in the second round of the NCAA Tournament’s Midwest Region in Providence.
With the win, the Boilermakers advance to the Sweet 16, set to take place just an hour from their campus at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. They’ll face the winner of the Houston-Gonzaga matchup on Friday night.
