Shooting Leaves One Injured at Motel on Indy’s South Side

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are looking into a shooting that left someone badly injured on Wednesday morning at a motel on the south side.
IMPD officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to a shooting at the Travel Inn on South East Street, just south of the U.S. 31/I-465 interchange. Officers also spotted police activity outside a nearby Super 8 motel.
The victim was found in critical condition and taken to a hospital, according to IMPD.
