Widespread opposition to Hogsett's pick for Director of Indianapolis Animal Care Services is a win for pets and another black eye for the mayor.

The whole this whole thing with animal care services where they decided not to vote on Joe Hogsett’s pick because she’s not somebody that the volunteers wanted for actions taken when she was the interim Chief.

I’m happy to see who’s you’re standing up. But there’s a real question of whether or not Joe Hogsett sees anything through whatever goggles he wears. And the people don’t think you lead. They don’t have any faith in you whatsoever. You’re not very good at this.
