Monroe County Firefighter Dies after Car Crashes into the Woods

MONROE COUNTY, Ind. — A firefighter in Monroe County died in a car accident early Saturday.
The crash happened near State Road 446 and Dutch Ridge Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene before 6:30, they found Leroy Terrell, who was a part of the Monroe County Fire Protection District. Deputies also found a 2006 Ford F-350, which was off the road and into the woods.
Terrell did not survive at the scene.
As deputies were looking into this, they say slick roads might have caused the crash.
