INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis teenager is facing charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness following a shooting on I-70 earlier this year.
State Police believe Donte Roney, 19, shot a male and a female who were in a car near Emerson Avenue on Jan. 2nd. The male got non-life-threatening injuries, but the female is still in “very critical condition.”
Officers do think Roney was with another person at the time of the shooting, but they have not provided any updates on that individual. This incident may have been inspired by road rage.
The teenager was taken to the Marion County Jail Wednesday.
