Man From Mexico Deported Three Times Already, Arrested Again In Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A man from Mexico who has been deported three times from the U.S. was arrested again this week in Indianapolis.
Diego Escobar, 29, has been charged in federal court with dealing meth. he was caught in the middle of a drug deal at a Little Caesars in Indianapolis. It was the culmination of a months-long investigation by IMPD and the DEA.
He had around 50 grams of meth on him when he was arrested.
The DEA said Escobar now faces deportation for a fourth time as he is being held in the Marion County Jail on a detainer by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
He’s previously been arrested one other time in Indianapolis back in 2022 as well as twice in Boone County between 2020 and 2022. All three arrests involved illegal gun and drug charges.
