WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ind. — Two people jumped from a balcony of the apartment when it caught on fire Saturday night.
As soon as firefighters arrived at the apartment in Wayne Township around 8:30, that’s when they found fire throughout the apartment’s hallway, as well as many people who are on their balconies.
Authorities say an adult and a child were not injured after they jumped from a balcony on the second floor of the apartment.
Firefighters say they put the fire out, and people who lived in that apartment were then okay to go back inside.
No other injuries were reported either.
