TV’s Dr. Oz May Lead Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
WASHINGTON — Donald Trump is nominating TV’s Doctor Oz to lead the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
CMS oversees Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and healthcare.gov, which currently provide coverage to nearly 50% of Americans.
Trump said Oz “has been at the forefront of healthy living for decades,” and will work alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who’s been nominated to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
