Tony Katz has been reporting all year long that the border is the most important issue for the nation. The mass influx of immigrants into the United States is no longer a problem restricted to the southern border states. Each state is now a border state.
Springfield, Ohio got worldwide attention during the Presidential Debate. Tony Katz went to Springfield to see firsthand that the issue wasn’t cats and dogs, it was about the people of Springfield whose lives have been upended by the unfettered influx of migrants.

Fox 59’s Angela Ganote went to Logansport Indiana after a concerned viewer asked Ganote how the small town is handling the influx of “newcomers”. Logansport officials say immigrant population growth is unsustainable.
Not only has there been a substantial population increase for this small town. There have been reports of a tuberculosis outbreak, strains on Medicaid and the local school district. Who’s employing the migrants? There are reports that Tyson is a big employer of the migrants. And what does Mayor Chris Martin have to say about the crisis?
Angela Ganote:
Maybe the mayor of Logansport is lying when he says that his city can’t sustain it. Maybe they can. Maybe that’s the follow up story. Prove to us that the Logansport mayor can sustain it and that he’s a liar. I would love to tell that story if that’s true. I’m always looking for truth, right? And we should be able to have these conversations.
