BEDMINSTER, N.J. — Former President Trump may be considering attending a fundraiser at his New Jersey golf club to raise money for January 6th rioters.
It’s set to be held on September 5th at Trump’s Bedminster club. Organizers are holding a “J6 Awards Gala” to raise money for rioters facing criminal charges, with tickets running from $1,500 to $50,000.
Former U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn says supporting people who assaulted 140 police officers, “sought to overthrow the government and were chanting, Hang Mike Pence,” is outrageous.
NBC 4 New York is reporting that Trump has “expressed interest” in going but his campaign denies that he’ll attend.
