INDIANAPOLIS — A man has been arrested for shooting and killing a man at a gas station on the northeast side.
The call went out at around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night about shots fired along 56th street just east of Binford Blvd. Officer William Young said they arrived to find a man inside of a car with a gunshot wound.
“IEMS arrived, and unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased on the scene,” Young said. “IMPD Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation and are speaking with a person of interest.”
Just after 12 p.m. Wednesday, IMPD announced the arrest of 49-year-old Vincent Bibbs for murder.
The Marion Couty Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and make a final charging decision.
