ANDERSON, Ind. — A prisoner at Pendleton Correctional Facility has received a third life sentence for fatally stabbing an inmate at the prison in 2019.

Tommy Holland, who previously lived in Indianapolis, previously received two life sentences for the murders of Dipak Patel and Christopher Larsen in Indianapolis in 2003.

On Monday, Holland received a third life sentence for fatally stabbing Clifford Bagget, 28, of Eustis, Fla., in the dining hall of Pendleton Correctional Facility in Aug. 2019. Baggett died at the prison before he could be taken to a hospital.

As part of a plea agreement, the third life sentence will run consecutively to his first two life sentences, reports WISH-TV.

The Indiana Department of Correction says Holland will not be eligible for parole.
