CARLISLE, Ind.–An argument led to a shooting at a gas station in Carlisle Tuesday night, according to Indiana State Police.
Officers say Faran Brown, 59, of Carlisle was shot after being in an argument with Susan J. Brown, 65, of Carlisle. They recovered a handgun in the gas station parking lot on Old Highway 41 South.
They suspect Susan shot Faran with that gun. Susan Brown was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted murder.
Susan Brown was taken to the Sullivan County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
Faran Brown has been getting medical treatment for his injuries.
Carlisle is a town in Sullivan County, which is in southwest Indiana.
