Bad news for Prince Hank and his main squeeze, Megs.

Canadian officials said Thursday that the government will no longer provide security to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after March, when the couple is no longer an official member of the royal family, according to Fox News.

Public Safety Minister Bill Blair told the CBC the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have provided Hank, Megs, and their 9-month-old son Archie “intermittent” security since November at the request of London’s Metropolitan Police.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex choosing to relocate to Canada on a part-time basis presented our government with a unique and unprecedented set of circumstances,” Blair said. “The RCMP has been engaged with officials in the U.K. from the very beginning regarding security considerations.”

Fun Fact: Hank and Megs recently bought themselves a lovely $14 million home in Vancouver Island north of Washington State. In other words, they can afford their own security.

An “official” statement on Harry and Meghan’s Sussex Royal website reads as follows:

“It is agreed that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will continue to require effective security to protect them and their son. This is based on The Duke’s public profile by virtue of being born into The Royal Family, his military service, the Duchess’ own independent profile, and the shared threat and risk level documented specifically over the last few years. No further details can be shared as this is classified information for safety reasons.”

An “official” statement from the Chicks on the Right reads as follows:

“Sod off and pay for your own security, Hank and Megs.”
