INDIANAPOLIS – Justus Companies on Tuesday presented a $66,000 donation to Heart Rock Recovery Center, a vital Indianapolis-based facility that offers a unique, family-oriented approach to addiction recovery.

The contribution, raised through various property-related resident activities and events during 2023-2024, will directly support Heart Rock’s mission to keep mothers and their children together during the healing process.

Heart Rock Recovery Center, founded by Overdose Lifeline, provides a holistic sober living community for pregnant and parenting women recovering from substance use disorders or dual diagnoses. It offers 12 to 18 months of affordable housing and financial assistance, guiding women toward lasting sobriety, self-love, and inner peace.

“We choose to partner with Overdose Lifeline because their mission aligns with our deepest values which is caring for people, lifting communities and offering hope where it’s needed most,” said Walt Justus, President of Justus Companies. He emphasized the importance of supporting Overdose Lifeline’s efforts in education, outreach, and compassion, noting their role in breaking down the stigma surrounding addiction.

This significant donation will bolster Heart Rock’s ability to provide a safe, stable environment and comprehensive care for families on their path to healing.

Founded by Overdose Lifeline, the Heart Rock Recovery Center guides women through achieving substance use recovery, deconstructing harmful behaviors and finding self-love, inner peace and lifelong joy. To learn more about Heart Rock Recovery Center, visit HeartRockRecovery.org.
