INDIANAPOLIS — A portion of Madison Avenue will close next week for a months-long sewer project.
Madison Ave. between McCarty Street and South Street will close on Monday, July 29.
It is expected to reopen on Feb. 29, 2020.
Citizens Energy said the sewer project is related to the DigIndy Tunnel System.
Citizens said the road will remain open to those who live and work in the area. Through traffic will be forced to take a detour.
