Storm-Downed Tree Kills Woman, Injures Child
LINTON, Ind. — A woman died and a teenager was critically injured after a tree fell on a car in Greene County Friday evening.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says they got the call just after 7 p.m. about a tree falling near North 1500 West in Linton.
Deputies found a 33-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. Three teenagers were inside the car, and one was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
No further details have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
